Ante Žižić left Cibona and signed with Darussafaka

Cibona have agreed all terms with Darussafaka regarding the transfer of Ante Žižić. Talented center will therefore continue his basketball career in Turkey.

Ante Žižić will enter the new year as a player of Darussafaka. By signing with the Turkish club he will be able to play in the Euroleague in the rest of the season, which will certainly be a valuable experience for him before going to the NBA.

Recall that Žižić was selected with the 23rd overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, and he should join them next summer.

Žižić had amazing numbers in the 2016/17 ABA League season. He has averaged 20 points and 9.2 rebounds per match, while he was on top of the MVP list with the average score of 28,2 index points per match.

Cibona thanked Žižić on his great performances and wished him all the best in the upcoming challenges in his basketball career.

KK Cibona postigla je dogovor s turskim klubom Darušafaka oko prelaska centra Ante Toni Žižića.

Ante će tako ući u Novu godinu s novim klubom s kojim će zaigrati i u Euroligi. Prilika je to za još jedno novo iskustvo prije odlaska u NBA. Podsjetimo kako je Žižić prošlog ljeta izabran na NBA draftu kao 23. izbor Boston Celticsa i trebao bi im se priključiti na ljeto.
