Cedevita got defeated by Valencia despite stunning performance of Boatright

Cedevita opened the EuroCup Top 16 campaign with a home defeat against Valencia Basket. Ryan Boatright was close to complete a triple-double achievement!

Unfortunately, Cedevita lost the "Orange Battle" vs. Valencia, but it must be mentioned that the ABA League side played a very good match against the Spanish powerhouse. The Zagreb crew even had the lead before the start of the 4th quarter - 75:74, however then Valencia made 13:0 run and turned the things around in their advantage - 75:87.

Still, thanks to incredible performance of Ryan Boatright, Cedevita managed to reduce the margin to just 3 points and to get the chance to take this game into overtime. However, Boatright missed the three-pointer in the final seconds and the score remained the same - 89:86 for Valencia.

Ryan Boatright was close to complete a triple-double achievement this evening. He had 37 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds, while his overall index rating was 52!!!
