ABA League 17th round, Saturday, 7.1.2017:
Where? Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade
When? 21:00
Story of the game: Interesting game is approaching in Belgrade, where Partizan NIS will host Karpoš Sokoli in what will be a clash of two sides that are playing convincingly in the last period.
The black and white are currently on a 7-game winning streak, while on the other side, the Skopje team have won five of their last eight games, including big names such as Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita, which are battling to reach the Playoffs. However, what can be considered as a handicap for the Falcons is the fact that all of their wins over the period of the last eight rounds have come at their home court – they have never ever won the game in the ABA League yet. However, everything happens for the first time once and why would it be impossible to upset the Belgrade powerhouse at their court in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall?
Aleksandar Džikić will be missing Đorđe Majstorović and Vanja Marinković this time under his disposal, while Branislav Ratkovica and Frank Robinson are questionable to appear. On the other side, Karpoš Sokoli are coming to Belgrade with all players available, including the newcomer Filip Šepa!
Match-up in focus: Two athletic forwards will stand one against another this time, as Adin Vrabac will test the skills of Zoran Vrkić on the other side. Prepare yourself for some high-flying action on Saturday night!
Head to head in regional league: In total 1:0; In Belgrade 0:0.
