Story of the game: Another important game is coming up in Novo mesto, as Krka will host Budućnost VOLI in a battle of two teams that desperately need a new win in order to keep track with their goals.
In case of Krka it means that they need to end their 7 games long winless streak, which would be the first step of moving away from the danger zone at the bottom of the standings, where Krka are currently only a win away from the last place with 5 wins on their record.
On the other hand, Budućnost VOLI have returned to winning track last round, at home against Mega Leks at home in Morača, but they have no time to rest, since they need to continue victoriously in order to stay at one of the positions that still lead into the Playoffs.
Krka might play without Darko Jukic and Marko Luković this time, which are questionable to appear due to injuries. On the other side, Budućnost VOLI have no injury problems whatsoever at the moment.
Match-up in focus: Matic Rebec and Marcus Williams are certainly amongst the best point guards of the league at the moment – with Rebec averaging 6.06 assists per game and Williams 6 sharp. Besides their playmaking skills, their shooting skills are undisputable so it will be a great show to watch in the Leon Štukelj Arena.
