EL: Another one! Crvena zvezda down Zalgiris on the road!
The red & white army from Belgrade is not stopping. Crvena zvezda mts continued their 2016/17 Euroleague campaign with a road win against Zalgiris. It was the third consecutive win for the Belgrade crew in this competition.

The red & white army from Belgrade is not stopping. Crvena zvezda mts continued their 2016/17 Euroleague campaign with a road win against Zalgiris. It was the third consecutive win for the Belgrade crew in this competition.
Crvena zvezda mts have started the 2017 year in the best possible way. After scoring a convincing win against Zadar in ABA League, the red & white squad collected a huge away victory in Euroleague. They defeated Zalgiris in Kaunas and continued their European dream.
On top of that, Crvena zvezda mts are now better than Zalgiris in the head to head score, which might be important at the end of the Regular Season.
And once again, the boys coached by Dejan Radonjić were perfect in defense. Branko Lazić was leading the team defensively, while at the end Zvezda conceded only 61 points.
So, Crvena zvezda mts now have the overall score of 8 wins and 8 defeats and they are currently among the top 8 teams which will eventually get tickets for the Euroleague Playoffs.
