Cedevita opened the competition with a win, however the Orange crew suffered two defeats on the Day 2 and lost all chances to reach the semis.
The boys from Zagreb firstly got defeated by Joventut Badalona, but despite that result they still had chances to advance to the next stage. The crucial match was the one played in the evening, against the hosts of the tournament Torrons Vicens L'Hospitalet. Unfortunatelly, the Spanish team were better, so they booked the last ticket for the semis.
Therefore, Cedevita will play in the 5th place match at the L'Hospitalet Euroleague Adidas Next Generation Qualifying Tournament.
Their opponent will be Alba Berlin who defeated Olimpija Ljubljana on the last day of the group stage. The Dragons therefore lost all 3 games in the group and failed to make it to the semifinals.
