ABA League 19th round, Saturday, 21.1.2017:

PARTIZAN NIS - FMP

Where? Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall, Belgrade

When? 19:00

Story of the game: Important game is coming up in Belgrade for both Partizan NIS and FMP, as both of them have lots to fight for at the moment. While Partizan NIS still hold the second place in the standings after the road loss against Olimpija, FMP are still endangered in the battle to avoid relegation, being currently only two wins away from the very bottom of the standings.

Partizan NIS will try to recover from their loss in Ljubljana which ended their 8-game winning streak, while FMP will not satisfy themselves with a win over Mornar, but they wish to build on it by taking down the Belgrade giants as well. However, to do that they will have to write history and beat Partizan on the road for the first time ever.

The first time the two sides met this season Partizan were better on the road in FMP Sports Hall with the score of 65:56.

Match-up in focus: Will Hatcher or Filip Čović? So far this season, Čović has proved himself to be a more prolific passer than Hatcher, as he currently occupies the first place among league passers with an average of 6.67 assists per game in comparison with 11th Hatcher who has 3.89. However, the picture is turned upside down when talking about points scored. Hatcher is currently on the 2nd position in the league with 16.17 points per game, while Čović has 14.44 on 8th place. Will the scoring or the passing matter this time?

Head to head in regional league: In total 13:3; In Belgrade 7:0.
