ABA League 23rd round, Tuesday, 21.2.2017:

FMP MZT SKOPJE AERODROM

Where? FMP Sports Hall, Belgrade

When? 20:00

Story of the game: After the end of the domestic cup competitions, both FMP and MZT Skopje Aerodrom have only one thing on their mind – to win their next ABA League encounters and escape as far away from the danger zone at the bottom of the standings as possible.

Both teams are in good shape right now. While FMP have beaten Union Olimpija last round at home court, which pushed them two wins above the bottom, MZT Skopje Aerodrom are currently in a middle of a 3-game winning streak and have recently escaped the last place, being positioned one win above the league’s bottom right now.

Which team will celebrate this time? The teams so far met once in the ABA League. In the first part of the season, MZT celebrated with the score of 89:68.

Match-up in focus: It is no secret that point guard Filip Čović is the first name of the FMP, as everything always starts and ends with this excellent playmaker. On the other end, he will have a perfect match this time in Xavier Thames, who has been averaging a valuation of 18.33 over the past three games. Which one will impress more this time?

Head to head in regional league: In total 0:1; In Belgrade 0:0.
