Story of the game: By scoring 9 wins so far in the 2016/17 season, Karpoš Sokoli have probably secured their ABA League status. They are in front of three teams on the standings (Zadar & MZT Skopje Aerodrom - 8 wins, Krka - 7 wins), while the boys from Skopje might be able to officially celebrate their staying in the league already this evening.
It will all depend on the outcome of today's match between Partizan NIS and Krka, which is actually important both to Karpoš Sokoli and Zadar.
If Krka lose that match, then Karpoš Sokoli will definitely avoid relegation, while Zadar will have a big chance to do the same on Monday evening. Zadar also need to worry about the fact that they have a worse head to head score against Krka, so if Krka win today then Zadar will simply need to win against Karpoš Sokoli to stay above the bottom spot.
