Mornar finished their 1st ever ABA League campaign with an away win against MZT Skopje Aerodrom

Game recap: It was the last match for MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Mornar in the 2016/17 ABA League season, while its outcome was not going to change anything important for either side. That is why both teams approached the last round of the regular season in quite relaxed atmosphere... But, at the end both of them tried their best to prevail in a thrilling finish.
Eventually, Mornar managed to stay in front in the final minutes and to finish their 1st ever ABA League campaign with a road win against MZT Skopje Aerodrom.
Key moments: Mornar had +17 at the beginning of the 4th quarter and it looked that the visitors will score a comfortable win. However, MZT Skopje Aerodrom were not so keen on giving up this Monday. The home side started melting the gap bit by bit, until they reduced the margin to 65:63, with just over a minute left on the game clock.
But, then the top scorer of Mornar in this season Antabia Waller took the ball and scored a pretty difficult 2-pointer for 67:63. On the other side MZT Skopje Aerodrom failed to make a basket, while Boris Bakić made the final score by dropping two free throws for Mornar - 69:63.
Man of the match: And, it was Boris Bakić who picked up the MVP of the match award. He had 15 points, 3 assists and 4 steals, while his overall index rating was 19.
Can't trick the stats: MZT Skopje Aerodrom made just too many turnovers. They had 19 of them this evening...
