Partizan NIS: “Cedevita are the favourites!”
Before the beginning of the semi-finals Partizan NIS head coach and captain Novica Veličković spoke for the press about their expectations before the beginning of the semi-final series in Zagreb. Take a look at what they had to say.

Aleksandar Džikić, Partizan NIS head coach:
“We have played 26 rounds. We and Cedevita have both secured ourselves playoffs spots much earlier. We have made our live tougher since we have lost the second place near the end end fell to third. However, Playoffs are played in a best of three format. Cedevita have the home court advantage but it still remains to be seen how things would unfold. I hope that we would play basketball that people would like, competitive and relentless. You cannot expect to die from the beauty of our game since we are both fighting for something significant here. I see Cedevita as the team composed of large number of workers in the best possible meaning of this expression. We will try to improve some things from our last games against Cedevita where we lost twice. We do not have any imperative in terms of results. Cedevita are the faourites to win these series in my eyes.”
Novica Veličković, Partizan NIS player:
What we have been playing so far was just a preparation for the things that are to follow. Now the best is coming up. We will fight for the trophy. Nobody will give it to you as a present, you have to deserve it. We will face the team that has beaten us twice before this season, but now this does not matter anymore. Things are starting all over again and we will have a fierce battle for the finals.
