Mihajlo Andrić - "Our fans are with us, even if they are not in the gym"

Partizan NIS player Mihajlo Andrić stated in the interview for ABA League website that there are many things which can determine the outcome of Game 3 of the semifinal series against Cedevita.

Game 3 of the semifinals clash between Cedevita and Partizan NIS will also be the decisive one. What is the atmosphere inside the locker room before the Sunday's game?

"Everything is quite usual. We are working and recovering, while if everything goes according to the plan we will be in full numbers until Thursday's practice."

Partizan NIS have won Game 2 after William Hatcher made the game-winning shot in the final seconds. How did you experience everything that happened in those moments?

"It depends how you look at that moment. If there wasn't for all the things that had happened before the shot, then that single shot would not have decided the winner. But, it has decided the winner! So, Hatcher just finished something we have all been working on before that. How did I experience it? Well, we have already been through many endings like that in this season, so this was not our first time."

This time, you will not have a huge support from your fans. Will that make things more difficult for you?

"We will always have unconditional support from our fans. You do not only count the fans who are in the gym. Anyway, that enormous amount of energy has led us through Game 2. Cedevita played very well in that match, but we eventually won the game."

This season you played twice in Zagreb against Cedevita and you were defeated both times. What do you need to change in comparison to those two previous games?

"Every game is different. Now both teams have enough time to prepare for the upcoming game. On top of that, this match is much more important than the ones before. It matters to both sides, but there is a big difference in expectations."

What might be the key thing in Sunday's game?

"There are a lot of things that can determine the outcome of the game. Both sides have the players who can decide the winner single-handedly and both sides play tough basketball. Also, the health condition of both teams will also be very significant."

Treća utakmica u polufinalnoj seriji izmedju Partizana NIS i Cedevite biće ujedno i odlučujuća. Kakva je atmosfera u timu pred nedeljni okršaj u Zagrebu?

"Uobičajena. Radimo, oporavljamo se, ako sve bude išlo po planu, mislim da ćemo od četvrtka biti kompletni na treningu."

Drugu utakmicu je Partizan NIS dobio košem Vilijama Hečera u poslednjim sekundama. Kako ste doživeli sve što se izdešavalo u tim momentima?

"Zavisi kako gledate na to da se utakmuca reši poslednjim šutem. Da nije bilo svega onoga pre toga, ni taj jedan šut ne bi odredio pobednika. A jeste! Dakle, Hečer je završio ono na čemu smo svi radili... Što se tiče doživljaja samih poslednjih sekundi - pa nekako smo ove sezone bili već u tim situacijama. Nije nam prvi put."

Ovoga puta nećete imati veliku podršku navijača, koliko će to biti otežavajuća okolnost?

"Mi ćemo imati bezrezervnu podršku naših navijača, ne broje se samo oni koji su direktno u hali. Uostalom, ta ogromna količina energije je nosila nas. I pored toga, Cedevita je odigrala vrlo dobro... Ali smo ipak mi pobedili."

Ove sezone ste dva puta igrali protiv Cedevite u Zagrebu i oba puta ste bili poraženi. Šta je potrebno promeniti sada u odnosu na ta dva prethodna gostovanja?

"Svaka utakmica je drugačija. Sada oba tima imaju vremena da se koliko je moguće bolje pripreme za majstoricu. Uz to, ovaj meč ima veću težinu nego svaki prethodni. I jednima i drugima znači mnogo, baš kao što je i velika razlika u očekivanjima."

Šta očekujete da bude odlučujući faktor u nedelju?

"Ima tu toliko stvari koje mogu da odluče. Oba tima imaju pojedince koji mogu da odluče susret, obe ekipe igraju čvrsto, zdravstveni bilten je takođe vrlo važan."
