INTERVIEW: Boatright – “Time to take advantage of home court”
One of the most important games of the season is coming up for Cedevita and the squad of Zagreb is awaiting Partizan NIS in a game which will determine the first team of the 2017 ABA League Finals. Before the clash we have spoken with Cedevita’s leading scorer Ryan Boatright.

It's time for Game 3 in the semifinal clash between Cedevita and Partizan NIS. Whoever wins this game will advance to the finals. How are you feeling in front of such an important match.
"I'm excited. We have worked hard all year and we were working hard all week and I'm excited we are going to the game. We have home court advantage. I think the people of Zagreb will come out and they will give us their energy and extra boost."
Cedevita will have a home court advantage in this game. How much will that mean to you in Sunday's clash?
"It will mean a lot. It is hard to play in Serbia and it was a tough game in Belgrade. We have worked hard all year and played tough to have home court advantage and it is time to take advantage of it."
Is there a message you would like to send to Cedevita fans before Game 3?
"Just come out and support us. Bring a lot of energy. They made it really tough for us to play in Belgrade and I want to return a favour."
What might be the key thing that would decide the winner of the upcoming match?
""We have got to play defense. We have got to rebound and we just must run. We need to dominate the game, come out aggressive and just attack them on all angles."

Ryan Boatright: „Vrijeme da iskoristimo prednost domaćeg terena“

Dolazi vrijeme za treću utakmicu polufinalne serije između Cedevite i Partizana NIS. Ko god pobedi tu utakmicu će se plasirati u finale. Kakvi su vaši osjećaji prije ovoliko bitne utakmice?
"Uzbuđen sam. Naporno smo radili cijele godine i cijeli ovaj tjedan. Uzbuđen sam jer je pred nama utakmica. Imamo prednost domaćeg terena. Mislim da će ljudi iz Zagreba doći na utakmicu i dati nam svoju energiju i dodatni poticaj."
Cedevita će imati prednost domaćeg parketa u ovoj utakmici. Koliko vam to znači u nedjeljnoj utakmici?
"To će nam značiti mnogo. Bilo je teško igrati u Srbiji i utakmica u Beogradu je bila teška. Naporno smo radili cijele godine i igrali smo jako kako bi stekli prednost domaćeg terena, a sada je vrijeme da to iskoristimo."
Da li imate neku posebnu poruku za Cedevitine navijače prije treće utakmice?
"Samo dođite i podržite nas. Donesite nam puno energije. Oni su se pobrinuli da nama u Beogradu bude teško igrati i sada želim uzvratiti uslugu."
Što bi moglo presuditi u ovom meču?
"Moramo igrati obranu. Moramo skakati i moramo trčati. Moramo dominirati u utakmici, izaći na teren agresivni i napadati ih iz svih kuteva."
