The Dragons showed their power - Olimpija beat Krka on the road

Union Olimpija scored a huge away win against Krka in Game 1 of the 2016/17 Slovenian Championship Semi-Finals.

Union Olimpija and Zlatorog Laško are just one win away from reaching the 2016/17 Slovenian Championship Finals and both of them will have a chance to clinch that win in front if their fans.

Union Olimpija scored a huge away win against Krka in Game 1 of the 2016/17 Slovenian Championship Semi-Finals. The winner was decided in overtime in which Union Olimpija top scorers from tonight's match Brendon Jefferson and Gregorž Hrovat made two key 3-pointers and helped their team bounce back from 76:79 deficit to 82:79 lead. The Dragons have stayed in front until the end and scored a valuable win.

It is also important to mention that Krka player Erjon Kastrati scored a buzzer-beating 2-pointer in the 4th quarter to tie the game at 74:74 and to force the overtime.

In the other semis, Zlatorog Laško prevailed over Rogaška on the road and came so close to book their ticket for the Finals.

The teams who score 2 wins will advance to the Finals.
