Eleven ABA League players made it to the Serbia national team preliminary squad

Serbia national team head coach Aleksandar Đorđević has revealed the list of 25 players that he might be counting on for this summer’s EuroBasket 2017. On the preliminary squad there are 11 players that played in the ABA League last season.

Just like the preliminary squads of the national teams of other ABA League countries, the Serbia national team’s is packed with ABA League players.

There are seven players from the ranks of the reigning ABA League champions Crvena zvezda mts, two from FMP and one from Partizan NIS and Mega Leks, respectively. In total one can find no less than 11 ABA League players from last season on the squad made by Aleksandar Đorđević.
