Serbia has won the gold at the U18 EuroBasket 2017!

What a basketball day this was for our region! Serbia has become the European champion  by winning the gold medal at the U18 FIBA EuroBasket A Division 2017, while Croatia won the 1st place at the U18 FIBA EuroBasket B Division 2017!

Great, great news for all basketball fans in our region!

Serbia has become the European champion by winning the gold medal at the U18 FIBA EuroBasket A Division 2017, while Croatia won the 1st place at the U18 FIBA EuroBasket B Division 2017!

In the U18 FIBA EuroBasket A Division 2017 Finals, Serbia outplayed Spain by 74:62 and showed that the biggest basketball talents still live in our region. Mega Bemax rising star Nikola Mišković was the top scorer in the Serbian team as he scored 23 points in the finals, while Marko Pecarski added 14 points for the winning side.

Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the U18 FIBA EuroBasket A Division 2017 at the 8th place, Montenegro ended up at the 12th place, while Slovenia finished the tournament at the 13th place and therefore got relegated to the B Division.

At the same time, Croatia has won the 1st place at the U18 FIBA EuroBasket B Division 2017 by defeating Great Britain in the finals - 90:84! The game went into overtime in which Croatian team had more concentration and prevailed over their opponents. It means that Croatia has qualified for the U18 FIBA EuroBasket A Division 2018.

Luka Samanić was the top scorer in the winning team with 26 points, while Mateo Dreznjak made 20 points in the finals.

Macedonia finished the U18 FIBA EuroBasket B Division 2017 at the 16th place.
