Victorious night for Zvezda, FMP, Mega and Mornar

Crvena zvezda mts, FMP, Mega Bemax and Mornar were the ABA League sides that were victorious on Wednesday's preseason night. The only defeat was suffered by Budućnost VOLI – on the road against FMP.

The reigning ABA League champions Crvena zvezda mts have victoriously began their preseason campaign. In their first game ahead of the new ABA League season, where they will be the ones defending the trophy, Dušan Alimpijević’s squad have hosted Vršac in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall and triumphed convincingly. The final score was 116:79 for the red and white. Milko Bjelica led the way in scoring with 23 points. Nikola Radićević followed him with 17. To see the full list of scorers click HERE.

In Laktaši sports Hall, Igokea hosted OKK Spars of Sarajevo in their preseason opener and successfully finished with their first test. Dragan Bajić’s squad swept the guests with the final score of 95:58. Robert Rikić topped the scorers for the home side and it has been the newcomer Nikola Jevtović who followed him, by adding 13 to his team’s record. To see the full list of scorers click HERE.

Mega Bemax is another ABA League team that opened their preseason on this evening and their head coach Dejan Milojević has every possible reason to be satisfied, as Mega have outscored Beovuk in their new practice gym Mega Factory with the score of 95:64. Nikola Rebić was the most prolific amongst scorers at Mega’s side this time with 21 points, while Dylan Ennis added 20. To see the full list of scorers click HERE.

In Čačak, Mornar triumphed over home side of ABA League second division – Borac - with the final score of 86:77. The newcomer in Bar Uroš Luković was the one to shine the brightest in his new squad this time, as he ended the game with 18 points on his record. In FMP Arena, Belgrade, the two ABA League sides faced each other and in the battle of two Super Cup contenders, FMP were eventually stronger than Budućnost VOLI by a point (70:69). Filip Čović was the most efficient on the side of FMP with 18 points, followed by Michael Ojo and Radoš Šešlija (9 apiece). On the other side, Kyle Gibson scored 19, while Danilo and Zoran Nikolić, as well as Petar Popović had 7. To see the full list of scorers click HERE.
