Victories for Cibona, Mega and Olimpija

Two ABA League teams met in the third place game at the tournament in Istanbul and Cibona were the ones to prevail over MZT Skopje Aerodrom in the end. The squad of Zagreb made the crucial difference in second and third quarters combined, when they have created themselves 15 points of advantage. In the end, they celebrated the victory with the final score 98:89. Ivan Novačić led the scorers of Cibona with 21 points, while Domagoj Bošnjak added 20. In Ježica, Ljubljana, Petrol Olimpija fans have witnessed an amazing ending by their team, which gave them a victory over ABA League rivals of Zadar. The Dragons won the last quarter by no less than 13 points (28:15) and this is exactly what the margin at the end of the game was. The final score was 84:71 in favour of the home side, for which this for which this is the second victory in this preseason, alongside two defeats and a tie. Zadar suffered their second defeat in third preseason game. For Olimpija Jordan Morgan scored 17 points and Talor Battle 14, while for Zadar Ive Ivanov had 16 points and Nathan Taphorn 11. Mega Bemax were better than Beroe at home in Sremska Mitrovica. The squad led from the bench by Dejan Milojević made the crucial margin at the beginning of the game, as they have won the first quarter by 29:15. In the end, the difference was 12 points (83:71) and Aleksandar Lazić and Stefan Fundić were the ones to lead the way in scoring for Mega with 18 points scored apiece.
