2017/18 ABA League Teams - Budućnost VOLI

It is time to start with team presentations in front of the 2017/18 ABA League journey, and we are going to begin with last season's semifinalists - Budućnost VOLI.

Yes, Budućnost VOLI have once again reached the ABA League Playoffs and once again they have failed to reach the finals. However, nothing can break the spirit of this team and their fans.

Over the past summer, Budućnost VOLI have made several important changes inside the roster and they are fired up to make another attempt in claiming the prestigious regional trophy.

First of all, Budućnost VOLI changed their head coach. They hired former Partizan NIS head coach Aleksandar Džikić who knows the league very well and who is well-motivated to make something big out of this project. Džikić and the management have agreed on one very important thing - To create a team in which the majority of the roster will be filled with domestic players.

Therefore, the club from Podgorica extended contracts with several important first team players including Suad & Sead Šehović and Nemanja Gordić, while they signed their former players Danilo Nikolić and Filip Barović. With some talented guys already in the team such are Zoran Nikolić, Aleksa Ilić and Vasilije Baćović and with foreigners Kyle Gibson and Kyle Landry, this team already looks very strong.

And, Budućnost VOLI have not yet finished their job on the transfer market...

In any case, we will watch high-quality basketball in Podgorica once again.
