2017/18 ABA League Teams - Cedevita

Four times they have reached the finals of the regional league and four times they have suffered defeat. Still, despite failing to win the trophy, Cedevita have showed continuity in making good results. For years they have been among the top teams in ABA League and it seems that they are getting closer and closer to the final goal.

And that would be, of course, winning the championship.

Anyway, Cedevita are entering the 2017/18 season with high ambitions and with significantly different team. The first change was the one at the bench, as the club's board has decided to entrust the team to Jure Zdovc.

Zdovc is not just the famous former player, but a man who has already achieved many important things in his coaching career. His enormous basketball knowledge will be one of the team's biggest advantages in the following season and the players will definitely have a great teacher to learn from.

Speaking about the players, Cedevita have kept just several first team players from the previous season. Karlo Žganec, Marko Arapović, Filip Krušlin and Toni Katić are still there, as well as one of the most talented players in Europe - Džanan Musa. When newcomers are concerned, certainly the biggest name is former Panathinaikos player Demetris Nichols, while Cedevita have also signed Roko Leni Ukić, Ivan Ramljak, Andrija Stipanović and three more American players - Will Cherry, Chris Johnson and Kevin Murphy.

It is a very interesting group of players, so we are eager to find out how much this team can do in the 2017/18 season.
