2017/18 ABA League Teams - Cibona

Since they won the 2013/14 regional league, Cibona have failed to make it to the Playoffs. A lot of changes in the previous three years have cost the club some big results, but one thing is certain in front of every season - You should never underestimate the Wolves.

Cibona are another team which have changed the coach since the end of the previous season. Slobodan Subotić has returned to our region as he accepted the offer from Cibona and he will be the one to lead the team in the 2017/18 journey.

Subotić has a lot of experience, so Cibona will indeed have a good coach sitting on the bench and a man who can make the players a lot better.

As far as the players are concerned, team roster will definitely look a lot different than in the previous season. Cibona have extended contracts with two very experienced players - Marin Rozić & Luka Žorić and two of them should be the team leaders. Also, some youngsters have stayed in the team, including Karlo Uljarević, Krešimir Ljubičić and Josip Popić. But, the main power of Cibona should come from the newcomers.

Melvin Cleveland has already made himself the team top scorer in the preseason, while he should get a lot of help from other newcomers - Langston Hall, Josip Bilinovac and Ivan Novačić.

It is expected that Cibona will strengthen the team roster even more in the days to come, so be quite sure that the boys from Zagreb will play an important role in the 2017/18 season.
