Victories for Zvezda and Mega, defeats for Olimpija and Partizan

Crvena zvezda mts are continuing with excellent performances this preseason as they have rolled over Steaua. Mega Leks have beaten Antwerp Giants. Petrol Olimpija defeated against Nizhny Novgorod and Partizan NIS against Lokomotiv Kuban.

Crvena zvezda mts have outplayed Romanian side Steaua of Bucharest, as they have rushed towards 100 points and limited the opponent to only 70. The Romanians even won the first quarter by 3 points, but Zvezda made clear who the bosses of the court are already in the second one, in which they prevailed by 13 and went to the locker rooms at half time with the double-digit lead. In the remainder of the match they have just confirmed their dominance. James Feldeine was the top scorer with 24 points, while Milko Bjelica added 19. At the semi-final game of the Mega Bemax Cup, Mega Bemax have beaten Telenet Giants of Antwerp with the score of 85:83 thanks to Nikola Rebić, who set the final score with 20 seconds remaining on the clock. Dylan Ennis was the top scorer of Mega with 27 points and Rebić followed him with 14. This is the fourth win for Mega this summer in five preseason games played so far. In the second semi-final game at the cup, Partizan NIS were defeated by strong Lokomotiv Kuban side with the final score of 97:75 after the Russian side have been a better opponent throughout majority of the game. For black and white Nigel Williams – Goss led the way in scoring with 17 points and Mihajlo Andrić added 11 to the record. Check out all the scorers HERE.

In Kranjska Gora, Petrol Olimpija faced a tough opponent and in the end they had to admit supremacy to Nizhny Novgorod with the final score of 83:66. The Russian side pulled away in the second quarter which they have won by 9 points (20:11) and controlled the flow of the clash until the very end. For Olimpija the top scorers were Gregor Hrovat and Erjon Kastrati. Each of them contributed 13 points. Check out all the scorers HERE.
