Victories for Cedevita, Mornar and MZT

Cedevita, Mornar and MZT Skopje Aerodrom are the teams that have achieved victories on Wednesday preseason night, by beating Krka, Sigal and Levski, respectively. Partizan NIS lost to Antwerp, Mega Bemax to Lokomotiv Kuban.

Mornar have got their revenge over Sigal in their second game in two days in Priština. Mihailo Pavićević’s squad prevailed with the score 74:66 in the end, even though the hosts managed to make their defeat look decent in the final minutes, as they have cut the deficit by 9 points in the final quarter. Vukota Pavić led the scorers at Mornar with 19 points, while Boris Bakić added 14 of them. This is the eighth win for Mornar in nine test games played so far this summer. In Zagreb, the ABA League runners-up Cedevita have hosted Krka and wrote down one more convincing win this summer. The final score was 88:63 in favour of the hosts, that made things clear already in the opening half, which they have won by 18 points (43:25). For Cedevita Demetris Nichols was the top scorer with 20 points, while Andrija Stipanović added 16. Check out all of the scorers HERE.

Partizan NIS lost the battle for the third place at the Mega Bemax Cup, after losing to Belgian side Antwerp Giants in their second game of the tournament. The Belgians were in front almost throughout the game, led by 8 points before the beginning of the final quarter and managed to stick with the lead until the end, when the score was 87:84. Nigel Williams-Goss was the top scorer for the black and white with 16 points, Novica Veličković had 14. This is the third defeat for Partizan NIS in four preseason games played so far. Mega Bemax were defeated in the battle for the first place at the Mega Bemax Cup, against Lokomotiv Kuban, with the score of 108:85 in a game, which has been a pretty one-sided affair. Nikola Rebić and Dylan Ennis were the top scorers of Mega with 21 points apiece. This is the second defeat for Mega this summer in six games on their record so far. In Sofia, MZT Skopje Aerodrom were the guests of Levski. Thanks to excellent second half, the guests from Skopje turned the game their way and celebrated in the end with the final score 78:67. Daniel Jansen was the best scorer of the team of Jane Sandanski with 20 points, Eric Garcia added 14. This is the second win for MZT this summer, after having played four games so far.
