Cibona and Olimpija victorious

Cibona and Petrol Olimpija were victorious on Friday night, as they have beaten Rogaška and Cluj, respectively. Budućnost VOLI suffered a defeat against FIAT Torino.

Petrol Olimpija are back on the winning track, as they have beaten Cluj at the tournament in Hungary, in the high scoring game with the final score of 93:90. The green and white made themselves an 8-point lead in the opening quarter of the game and did not let go of it until the final second. Talor Battle was the top scorer for Olimpija, as he scored 20 points and Jordan Morgan added 18. This is the fourth win for Olimpija this preseason, after eight games played so far. In Cagliari, Budućnost VOLI faced FIAT Torino and were unfortunately defeated after an exciting game, that ended only after an overtime. The final score was 94:91 in favour of the Italian squad. Nikola Ivanović was the top scorer for Budućnost VOLI, as he put in 20 points, while Kyle Gibson contributed 15. This is the second defeat of Budućnost VOLI, suffered in the fifth game this summer. In Široki Brijeg ABA League side Cibona faced ABA League 2 side Rogaška and it has been a merely one-sided contest, where Cibosi have prevailed with the final score of 67:46. For Cibona Melvin Cleveland was the top scorer with 17 points, while Marin Rozić added 12 of them. This is the fourth win for Cibona for this preseason, out of five games played so far.
