Novosel: “Excellent introduction into our new season”
Ahead of the inaugural ABA Super Cup, which will take place in Topolica Sports Hall in Bar, the ABA League Director Krešimir Novosel expressed his high expectations ahead of the Super Cup and the new season in general.

Krešimir Novosel, Director of ABA League is convinced that ABA Super Cup will be a success story and will not last for one summer only: “The first edition of ABA Supercup, that will for sure grow into a traditional competition, is ahead of us. After the EuroBasket 2017, which gave us many reasons to be proud of the achievements of our players, I believe that this will be an excellent introduction into a new season. I would like to thank the hosts, above all the city of Bar and basketball club Mornar, without which this could not be organized the way it will be and I am convinced that everyone will enjoy it.”
Novosel added that the new season will be full of challenges and that the Super Cup competition is a great introduction to what is to follow.
“This will also be an excellent introduction into our season, where many new challenges are ahead of us. As you are all well aware, for the first time the ABA League second division will take place this season, we will also organize the junior tournaments, which will give an additional motive to youngsters to get involved in our sport and to follow our competition even more intensively,” Novosel concluded.
