Story of the game: The 2017/18 ABA League opener will take place in KC Dražen Petrović, Zagreb, where we will see a repetition of the 2017 ABA Super Cup Quarter-final clash of Cedevita and FMP. In Topolica, it was Cedevita, that have emerged victorious from the battle of the two teams with the score of 86:68 and have later claimed the trophy of the competition.
Cedevita have also demonstrated high-class performances during the preseason. Including the Super Cup, they have won 7 of their 8 games. On the other side, FMP have won 5 of their 9 games in the preseason, including the Super Cup.
