Story of the game: The ABA League is back in the land of European champions! Basketball fans in Ljubljana have celebrated the big triumph of Slovenian national team, while now they will return to Stožice Sports Hall to support the most famous local club - Petrol Olimpija.
The green and white team are about to start their 2017/18 ABA League campaign with a home game against Igokea. The expectations are big, of course, so Petrol Olimpija crew are fired up to take the win in the opening round of the new championship.
On the other side, Igokea arrive in Ljubljana with the reputation of the 5th best team from the previous season. The boys coached by Dragan Bajić can definitely beat anyone in the league and they want to prove that already in the 1st round of the new season.
Match-up in focus: Devin Oliver (Petrol Olimpija) vs. Danilo Šibalić (Igokea). Two of them were in ABA League in the last season as well and they are both considered as some of the best players of their teams. It will be interesting to watch their duel.
