Partizan NIS have not started the season the way they have desired, as they have suffered two defeats on the road at the beginning. This time they will play at home and they will try to continue their successful tradition against FMP.

2017/18 ABA League Regular Season, Round 3, Saturday, 7.10.2017:

PARTIZAN NIS - FMP

Where? Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade

When? 19:00

Story of the game: For Partizan NIS, the game against FMP on Saturday in the third round of the ABA League could already be described as one of the most important games of the season, as they have entered it with two defeats at the beginning and the eventual triumph over FMP would bring them a hope of better times, while in case of defeat, they would remain at the bottom of the standings, worried about how their season would look like in the end.

On the other side, FMP have lost the ABA League opener in Zagreb against Cedevita, but have got their comfort in the second round, at the home court against MZT Skopje Aerodrom… which has beaten Partizan in the first round. Another victory in a row would confirm what they are hoping… that they are on the right track to have a successful season.

The history is on the side of the black and white – they have beaten FMP in 14 of their 17 ABA League games so far and were successful all eight times that they have met in Belgrade.

Match-up in focus: Both teams have tremendous offensive potential in their backcourt and we just have to wait and see what happens when both Nigel Williams-Goss and Filip Čović will be on the court – which one of them will explode this time?

Head to head in regional league: In total 14:3; at Partizan NIS’ home court 8:0.
