Olimpija are about to start their FIBA Champions League journey
Petrol Olimpija will play their first game in the 2017/18 FIBA Champions League season on Wednesday evening.
After completing 3 rounds in ABA League, Petrol Olimpija are about to start their FIBA Champions League journey. The Dragons will play their 1st game on Wednesday evening in France, where they will face Strasbourg (20:30).
Petrol Olimpija did lose 2 out of the previous 3 games in ABA League, but they have showed some high-quality basketball so far. Therefore, they can certainly play an important role in the 2017/18 FIBA Champions League season.
Recall that Petrol Olimpija are placed in Group C, alongside Estudiantes, Strasbourg, AEK Athens, Banvit, Venezia, Bayreuth and Rosa Radom. The top 4 teams at the end of the Regular Season will advance to the Playoffs stage.
