Olimpija returns from France empty-handed
Unfortunately, Petrol Olimpija suffered a road defeat against Strasbourg in the opening round of 2017/18 FIBA Champions League season.

Petrol Olimpija did not have a good start in the 2017/18 FIBA Champions League season as they suffered a road defeat against SIG Strasbourg. The Dragons have been chasing the opponent's lead throughout the whole match, but they did not actually get the chance to make some stunning comeback.
Everything was decided in the 2nd quarter in which Petrol Olimpija conceded 29 points and stayed far behind their French rivals.
Team captain Gregor Hrovat scored 13 points and he was the top scorer in the away side this evening.
In the next round, Petrol Olimpija will play against Banvit on the road.
