The red & white EuroLeague journey starts from Kaunas - Zvezda face Žalgiris
Crvena zvezda mts will play against Žalgiris Kaunas on the road in the 1st round of the 2017/18 EuroLeague season.

The long summer wait is finally over for all Crvena zvezda mts, as their club is about to play the first EuroLeague game in the 2017/18 season on Friday evening.
The reigning ABA League champions will start their new EuroLeague journey with an away game in Kaunas, where they will face Lithuanian champions Žalgiris.
In the previous season Zvezda managed to defeat Žalgiris in Kaunas, so now everyone in Belgrade crew hope they can repeat that result. Still, this is a totally new team, which requires a lot of patience in order to reach its full potential.
It is also worth mentioning that Crvena zvezda mts enters the new EuroLeague season after 3 consecutive wins in ABA League, where they are currently the only team with perfect score.
