Story of the game: This weekend the match of the round will be played in Belgrade where Crvena zvezda mts will host Budućnost VOLI.
We all remember their duel from the last season when they faced each other in the Playoffs Semi-Finals. Back then Crvena zvezda mts triumphed by winning the series 2-1, while the red & whites have later on clinched the ABA League title.
What is interesting to mention is that the 3rd and decisive game of that last season's series was played in FMP Sports Hall in Železnik, because Zvezda's gym was used for another event. Nevertheless, the fans of the Belgrade giant filled the hall in Železnik to the last seat and gave a huge support to the home team in that crucial game.
Why are we writing this? Because Sunday's game will also be played in FMP Sports Hall, duo to the same reasons as in the last season's Playoffs.
Therefore, we expect a really hot atmosphere inside the gym where the 1st placed Crvena zvezda mts and 5th placed Budućnost VOLI will face each other one more time.
Match-up in focus: Pero Antić (Crvena zvezda mts) has showed his class in recent matches, while he will try to use his experience in the battle against Filip Barović (Budućnost VOLI) who has had a really good season so far.
