Story of the game: There is only one ABA League game this Sunday, but what a game will that be! It's the clash of two regional giants, who have played numerous important games in the previous couple of years.
Cedevita vs. Crvena zvezda mts!
Cedevita await this game after suffering 4 consecutive defeats, counting ABA League and EuroCup. Therefore, they really want to bounce back and break that awful streak, while doing it against a big rival would make it even sweeter.
On the other side, Crvena zvezda mts, suffered a pretty painful defeat in the last round against Budućnost VOLI, but they have regained their confidence over the past week by beating no other than Barcelona Lassa in EuroLeague. There is no doubt that the red & white team is coming to Zagreb to take the win.
It is interesting to mention that these two clubs faced each other in the last season's ABA League Finals, and Crvena zvezda mts triumphed back then by winning the series 3-0.
Match-up in focus: Andrija Stipanović (Cedevita) vs. Pero Antić (Crvena zvezda mts). Two very experienced centers, who have quite a different playing style. Stipanović is a player who will score almost all of his points from inside the paint, while Antić is the guy who can make defense crazy with his long-range shots. That will be one interesting duel.
