BCL: Third defeat for Petrol Olimpija

The ABA League side of Ljubljana have been defeated in the third round of the Basketball Champions League, at home court in Stožice Arena by Medi Bayreuth.

The final outcome is pretty deserved, as the guests have quickly taken a lead worth mentioning and have kept it throughout the game.

The home team have threatened to take away their lead in third quarter, when they have cut the deficit to only four points (59:54), but the guests have pulled away again quickly and also reached their highest lead of the game with less than three minutes remaining, 18 points (88:70)

The final score of the clash was 90:77 in favour of the Germans. For Petrol Olimpija Devin Oliver led the way in scoring with 20 points and he was followed by Jordan Morgan, who put in 18.
