MATCH OF THE ROUND: Cibona host Partizan NIS
The opening game of the sixth round is going to be a big one, as in the true ABA League classic, two former European champions and regional league champions will battle one against another.

Story of the game: The fans will have a chance to enjoy in the ABA League spectacle already at the very beginning of the sixth round of the season, as Cibona and Partizan NIS will battle in the Dražen Petrović arena in what will be a real ABA League classic of two former European and regional league champions as well.
Both teams are currently on a great run. While Cibona have won their last two games in the ABA League, Partizan NIS have celebrated a victory in three of them in a row. Both of them are currently sharing the second place in the standings with three thriumps after five games. A new win for each one of them would mean that they would be continuing to fight for the top, while the other one would continue the season in the middle of the standings.
Partizan will not be able to count on Aleksandar Aranitović in this game, while Patrick Miller might not appear as well. At the side of Cibona everyone is healthy.
Match-up in focus: It will be an exciting match-up at the position of the center, as Cibona belive in Luka Žorić, who has been shining in their ranks ever since the season has begun and is currently the third league’s best scorer, averaging 20.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and just as many blocks. On the other side he will have a so far unknown opponent when it comes to playing in the ABA League – Partizan NIS’ newcomer Samardo Samuels, who already has valuable NBA experience gathered. Will he be able to stop the Croatian veteran?
