EC: Defeats for Cedevita and Partizan
In the fifth round of the EuroCup, both Cedevita and Partizan NIS were defeated on Wednesday. A day before, Budućnost VOLI lost to Lietkabelis.

In Paris, Cedevita were defeated by Levallois with the score of 91:81, but the game was far closer than the final result would suggest. In the 35th minute, Cedevita were still ahead by a point (79:78), but they only managed to score 2 more points until the end and Levallois prevailed with the final score of 91:81. For Cedevita Demetris Nichols led the way in scoring with 19 points, while Andrija Stipanović contributed 15.
Partizan NIS were defeated at home by Lokomotiv Kuban in a game, that remained tied until 27th minute. However, in the remaining minutes, Lokomotiv Kuban managed to pull away and created themselves a comfortable lead by the end, when the score was 93:83 for the Russians. For Partizan NIS Nigel Willams-Goss was the most efficient with 18 points, while Samardo Samuels and Patrick Miller each added 17.
