Story of the game: This is definitely one of the most interesting games of Round 8, simply because it's the clash of the 2nd placed Crvena zvezda mts and 4th placed FMP.
Zvezda approach it after winning the big Belgrade derby against Partizan NIS last week, but also after losing the EuroLeague match against Unicaja Malaga couple of days ago. The red & white team is indeed having a busy schedule, but that does not affect their ambitions. Crvena zvezda mts will go for the win on Sunday and that is the only thing that matters to them in this moment.
On the other side, FMP are having pretty good season so far. They have scored 4 wins out of the previous 7 rounds and they are currently among the top 4 teams on the standings. Therefore, the Panthers are going to the home of the reigning ABA League champions with a clear desire to continue their successful journey in the 2017/18 season.
Match-up in focus: It will be very interesting to see the duel between Mathias Lessort (Crvena zvezda mts) and Michael Ojo (FMP). They are both very strong and are already famous for their powerful dunks, so expect a big battle down in the paint.
