EL: Zvezda defeated by Baskonia
In the ninth round of the EuroLeague, Crvena zvezda mts were defeated by Baskonia at home in Kombank Arena, Belgrade.

Thursday was EuroLeague night in Belgrade, as the red and white were the hosts of Baskonia, but failed to make their fans happy with a new victory at the end of the day, even though they have offered a fair resistance to the Spanish side.
It has been a close game, as the result itself suggests and the last time that the teams were tied was when Ognjen Dobrić hit the three-pointer for the score of 78:78 with 2 minutes and a half left in the game.
However, the guests pulled away with a 5:1 run within the next 2 minutes and turned the clash in their favour. The final score was 85:81 for Baskonia and Mathias Lessort was the top scorer for Zvezda with 19 points, while Ognjen Dobrić contributed 17.
