We had a true derby match already at the start of U19 ABA League Championship. The clash of two teams which participated at the 2017 EuroLeague Adidas Next Generation Tournament - Crvena zvezda mts vs. Mega Legs.
And the red & white troops from Belgrade prevailed in this match. The score was all tied at the halftime - 33:33, but then Crvena zvezda mts won the 3rd quarter by 29:11 and gained the crucial lead.
The man of the match was Crvena zvezda mts center Veljko Radaković who scored 23 points and had 4 rebounds.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom prevailed over Mornar in a thrilling game at the start of U19 ABA League Championship. The key moment of this match happened on 11 seconds before the end, when the score was 83:82 for the squad from Skopje.
At that moment, MZT player Martin Trsunov had two free-throws... He made the first one for 84:82, but he then missed the second one! However, the ball bounced off the rim directly into the hands of none other than Trsunov himself and he got fouled again. This time, he scored both free throws and made the final score - 86:82.
