Cibona and Mega on the same mission – Escaping the danger zone
Cibona will host Mega Bemax in the last match of Round 12.

Story of the game: There is no doubt about this – The upcoming match in Zagreb is very, very important for both Cibona and Mega Bemax. Simply, these two teams are currently tied at the standings with the overall score of 4-7. It means that only the last placed MZT Skopje Aerodrom (2-10) is behind them, so their mission will be to get as far away as they can from the danger zone.
Cibona did lose the previous match in ABA League, but that defeat came against the reigning champions Crvena zvezda mts. And, even in that match, the Wolves made a pretty good performance and continued to improve their form in the 2017/18 season.
On the other side, Mega Bemax scored a valuable win against Igokea on the road last weekend and they now want to stay on the winning path. They made one change in the roster during the last week, as Dylan Ennis signed with Crvena zvezda mts, while Mega Bemax hired Petar Aranitović to replace him. We are about to see how will that change affect the team.
Match-up in focus: Marko Tomas (Cibona) vs. Kostja Mushidi (Mega Bemax). While Tomas is one of the most experienced players in the league, Mushidi is among the rising stars who are yet to show their true potential. They are both excellent shooters.
