EC: Defeats for Budućnost VOLI and Partizan NIS

Unfortunately, neither of the ABA League clubs have managed to score a win in EuroCup this Tuesday evening.

Budućnost VOLI suffered a road defeat against the top placed team in Group B – Bayern Munich. The squad from Podgorica played a pretty good game, but not even the amazing performance of Nikola Ivanović was enough for taking the win. Ivanović scored 27 points, he missed only 1 shot for the entire game (2/2 FG2, 5/6 FG3, 8/8 FT), while his overall index rating was 39!

Still, despite this defeat, Budućnost VOLI have a nice chance to advance to the next stage of EuroCup, as they will host Lietkabelis in the last round of the regular season. If they win that game, they will book a ticket for the TOP 16.

Partizan NIS suffered a home defeat against Limoges after a thrilling ending. The black & white squad had a chance to win this match, but Patrick Miller missed a lay-up on 10 seconds before the end, when the score was 99:98 for Limoges.

The best player in Partizan NIS this evening was Nigel Williams-Goss who finished the match with 28 points and 11 assists! His overall index rating was 36!
