It is still winter in this part of the world, but be quite sure that Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade will be the warmest place in Europe on Friday evening.
Simply because on that day, Crvena zvezda mts will host EuroLeague sensation Zalgiris in the 16th round of the regular season.
The red & whites are in good rhythm. They have scored 9 consecutive wins in ABA League, while they also triumphed in their last match in EuroLeague. On top of that, Zvezda will have a huge support from their fans, who will once again make the loudest basketball party in Europe.
On the other side, Zalgiris are coming to Belgrade as the only EuroLeague team which has scored all 5 wins in the previous 5 rounds! The Lithuanian giants are currently holding the 4th place on the standings, which is certainly way above anyone’s expectations.
Still, none of that matters when the games played in Belgrade are concerned…
