Story of the game: We are in front of another derby of Zagreb! Cedevita will host Cibona in the 15th round of the 2017/18 ABA League regular season, while this match means a lot to both sides.
Cedevita are currently holding the 3rd spot on the standings with just 1 win less than the leading duo – Crvena zvezda mts & Budućnost VOLI. Considering the fact that Zvezda and Budućnost face each other later in this round, the Orange team of Zagreb can level their score with one of them. If they beat Cibona, of course.
It is also important to mention that Cedevita are on a 6-win streak in ABA League.
At the same time, Cibona started making some really good results in the regional competition after appointing Ante Nazor as head coach. The Wolves are now fighting for a the 4th position, which leads into the ABA League Playoffs, and every win is very valuable for them.
