ABA League Round 18, Monday, 29.1.2018:

IGOKEA - ZADAR

Where? Laktaši Sports Hall, Laktaši

When? 18:00

Story of the game: Monday evening is reserved for the big clash between Crvena zvezda mts and Partizan NIS, but before the famous Belgrade derby we will have a very interesting match in Laktaši.

Igokea will host Zadar in the 18th round of the 2017/18 ABA League regular season.

Igokea can hardly reach the Playoffs in the remaining 5 rounds, but they want to finally get back on the winning track after losing the previous two games. The home side will be stronger for two American players Katin Reinhardt and Billy Preston who signed contracts with the club in the last moments of the 2017/18 ABA transfer window and we are eager to watch them in action.

At the same time, Zadar approach this game after suffering that painful defeat against Mornar last weekend, which was a major setback in their race for the Playoffs. Still if they win the upcoming match they will keep their Playoffs dream alive.

Match-up in focus: Many things in Igokea’s gameplay depend on their point guard Marko Ljubičić, while this time he will confront one of the best players in the league – Zadar's star Josh Bostic. It is also important to mention that this will be the last game for Bostic in Zadar, as he will leave the team during the week.

Head to head in regional league: In total 8:5; In Laktaši 6:0.
