Despite they played two very good games against an extremely powerful opponent, Budućnost VOLI still could not advance to the semi-finals of the 2017/18 EuroCup. Simply, Darussafaka were better, firstly in Istanbul where they won the match by 57:54 and then in Podgorica this Friday evening, when they finished the series by winning the game - 78:71.

Darussafaka have therefore progressed to the next stage of the competition, while Budućnost VOLI have finished their EuroCup campaign for this season.

The squad from Podgorica can now fully focus on the 2018 ABA League Playoffs. Recall that they will face Cedevita in the semi-finals, while we are yet to see who will have home court advantage in that clash.

2017/18 EuroCup Quarter-Finals Round 2, Friday, 9.3.2018:

Budućnost VOLI – DARUSSAFAKA 71:78 (12:19, 14:20, 20:20, 25:19) *0-2 in victories
