PRESEASON: Victories for Budućnost VOLI, Cedevita and Zadar

On Friday night several ABA League sides have stepped on courts during their preseason actions and Budućnost VOLI, Cedevita and Zadar grabbed new victories.

Budućnost VOLI shined in their encounter against Beikong in Belgrade, in which they have triumphed in the end with the score of 110:66. Everything about the game is said with the final score. The top scorer for the reigning ABA League champions was Coty Clarke with 18 points. Danilo Nikolić and Aleksa Ilić added 17 apiece. Check out the stats HERE.

In Zagreb, Cedevita were the ones to prevail in the ABA League clash, as they were better than Igokea with the final score of 79:63. The hosts led by 11 points already by halftime and then faced no troubles in maintaining the high advantage. Vitor Benite was the most efficient at Cedevita’s side, as he scored 17 points, while Sava Lešić led the way in scoring for Igokea with 21 points. Check out the stats HERE.

In the derby of Zadar, the ABA League side were better than Diadora with the convincing victory of 93:56 and that’s all one needs to know about the flow of the entire game. For Zadar, Domagoj Vuković was the most efficient, as he scored 17 points and Luka Tomas had 14. Check out the stats HERE.

In Belgrade, Mega Bemax were close to upsetting the reigning Basketball Champions League champions AEK of Athens. Thanks to their excellent second quarter, in which they had prevailed by 12 points, the Greek side celebrated in the end with the score of 104:97. Goga Bitadze shined for Mega with 27 points. In Čačak, Krka were unable to achieve a repetition of the last season’s ABA League 2 semi-finals as they were defeated by Borac with the final score of 84:70. The home side made the crucial difference in the opening half, when they went up with the score 50:36. In the end, Krka’s most efficient scorer was Jure Lalić with 15 points. Petrol Olimpija suffered a close defeat on the road in Brussels, as they lost to the home side of the tournament Basic-fit Brussels by only a point! The Belgian side celebrated the win with the score of 81:80. The crucial was the third quarter, when they prevailed with the score 23:8. In the end, the Dragons fought they way back into the fight for the win, but they fell short. Issuf Sanon scored 20 points for Olimpija and Jan Špan added 13. Check out the stats HERE.
