Nenad Trajković, head coach of Igokea:

“We have made major changes in the roster during the summer. Only 3 players from the last season’s team have remained in the roster, we also have 2 youngsters who have joined us from the junior team, while all the others are the newcomers. We tried to make one of the strongest rosters in Igokea’s history and therefore our ambition will be to play an important role in the upcoming ABA League season. I think that with the players we have we can play some very good basketball. Speaking about the ABA Super Cup, we will try to be the best we can and to be a worthy opponent to the reigning ABA champions Budućnost VOLI in the quarterfinals.”

Aleksandar Džikić, head coach of Budućnost VOLI:

“We are still not in our best shape, mostly because we were without half of our team at recent trainings due to the national team window. We still haven’t completed our roster and we will use this tournament to see if there is something we are missing in our team. Our main goal here at ABA Super Cup is to stay healthy, as we are approaching a very demanding season in which we will participate both in ABA League in EuroLeague, while we also want to make final preparations for the opening round of the new season. I think that the 2018/19 ABA League season will be very interesting, as many teams have formed very good rosters.”
