Aleš Pipan, head coach of Zadar:

“I can say that I am satisfied with everything we have done so far in the preparation period. We have formed most of the team quite early, but we are still looking for one center to strengthen our team down in the paint. The following games at ABA Super Cup will show us how good we are at this moment. It will be difficult, as we are facing Cedevita already in quarterfinals, but I believe in my players. As far as the 2018/19 ABA League season is concerned, our main goal is to secure the ABA League status as soon as possible.

Sito Alonso, head coach of Cedevita:

“For me it is a great challenge to come here and work in Cedevita. Your region is quite famous for basketball and everyone in Europe is talking good things about ABA League. Cedevita will have a different team than before. We signed 8 new players, and most of them are foreigners, so the first thing we need to do is to adapt to this competition. While we were forming out team, everyone were telling me to pay attention to physical abilities of the players, as teams here play with a lot of contact. Anyway, we want to learn and to grow day by day. We have already worked really hard during the preparation period and I think we are ready for the start of the season. The game against Zadar will be difficult, but we will give our best to win the match. Ivan Ramljak is not here with us, as he suffered injury. He will be replaced by young Toni Perković, who was working really good in the preparation period.
