Zvezda join Budućnost in the 2018 ABA Super Cup Final

Game recap: Five months ago they faced each other in the 2017/18 ABA League Finals… Now, they will meet again, this time in the 2018 ABA Super Cup Final. Budućnost VOLI vs. Crvena zvezda mts!
Zvezda defeated Cedevita in the semifinals, mostly thanks to their brilliant performance in the 1st half. The red & whites were even up by 20 points at one moment, but they still needed to give their maximum effort to keep that lead until the end.
Key moments: Despite having a huge deficit at the halftime, Cedevita squad refused to surrender and they managed to reduce the gap to just 5 points – 63:68. But, then Zvezda’s best player today Joe Ragland stepped up for his team. American point guard scored a long-range 3-pointer and finished to job for the Belgrade side.
Man of the match: Joe Ragland was amazing on both ends of the court. Crvena zvezda mts starting point guard scored 20 points, including that crucial 3-pointer, while he also brought that valuable aggression to squad’s defense.
Can’t trick the stats: Like in their previous match, Crvena zvezda mts were once again very good in shooting 3-pointers. They made 11 out of 22 attempts, while on the other side Cedevita scored just 6 out of 27 attempts.
