Story of the game: ABA League returns to Krešimir Ćosić Arena, where Zadar will host Mornar in Round 4 of the 2018/19 ABA League campaign. This match is quite important for both sides, as these two teams haven’t really had a good start of the new season.
Zadar have lost all 3 games so far in the championship and they need to break that losing streak as soon as possible. They will be stronger for William Magarity, a 25-year old center who joined the team during the week, and they will certainly have a big support from the stands. That’s why Zadar troops hope that the time has finally come to write down the first win in the season.
On the other side, Mornar did lose the opening 2 games in the 2018/19 ABA League journey, but then they triumphed against Partizan NIS in a thrilling match played in the previous round. The visitors have therefore significantly improved the atmosphere inside the team and they are coming to Zadar with a clear desire to grab the win and move forward to the top part of the standings.
Match-up in focus: Luka Božić was definitely the best player of Zadar in the previous 3 games. He is doing everything for his team – scoring, rebounding, playing defense… But, in this match he will have to find a way to stop the MVP of Round 3 – Mornar star player Nemanja Vranješ, who is playing truly amazing lately.
